I came for three weeks and I’m absolutely delighted with the school, the teachers, and the accommodation. Many thanks to my teachers, Francesco and Anna, who made the learning process effective and dynamic. Not even five minutes of a lesson go by without us speaking. Absolutely everyone I met at the school is caring and passionate about what they do — all the reception staff, the director, and even the cleaning staff.

My roommate fell ill over the weekend when no management staff were available, but a solution was still found, and I was promptly moved so I wouldn’t get sick.

The common areas and rooms are cleaned frequently, and the residence has everything you need. I was worried that using a shared bathroom and toilet would be inconvenient, but it didn’t cause any issues at all. There are two kitchens and four bathrooms on the floor, so there are no queues, and there’s plenty of space in the fridge for storage.

I will miss this place very much and will definitely come back again. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment for improving language skills, where learning truly becomes a pleasure!

Great school to learn and study English. The teachers are very good and supportive, the lessons are interesting, and there are cultural and fun activities for all ages. The accommodation in Sliema is very convenient, and it’s easy to meet people from around the world, improve your English and enjoy Malta at the same time 📚

Many programs struggle to get this right. IELS does not. Their summer operation runs with structure, clear communication, and strong student support, while still keeping the overall experience fun and meaningful for young learners.

Another area where IELS stands out is accommodation. Anyone familiar with Malta knows how difficult it can be to secure good, convenient housing that is also close to the school. IELS consistently offers excellent accommodation options in one of the best locations in Malta, with facilities that are within a short walking distance to the school, and in some cases even within the school itself. This makes a real difference, especially for younger students, in terms of safety, routine, and overall comfort.

I was there two weeks in March, it was my second time (first time in May 2024 and I´m sure not my last time). Again it was such an experience for me, the teachers are fantastic especially Lorena, Andrea and Ruth and I learned a lot.
I enyoyed the possibilities to improve my English in my free time by the activities with English Café Malta (Hiking, Talk time, Social Mixer...). If you like, there are a lot of things organised directly by the school, I also liked this very much. Alex, Petra and all the people in this school doing are great job. Last but not least I would like to say a special thank you to Matthew: I really appreciate your help everytime when I had a question!!!

A dream experience! Amazing activities, teachers, and an exceptionally lovely staff. Working with them was an honor and a true joy. They made my summer so much better!
